PCad will be proud....

This:

Plus this (Saturday):

Plus some new tires (Zipp Tangente), plus some '08 stickers to go with the white theme, plus a new cockpit (next week) that is narrower/shorter (fits me).

=

Speedy (maybe not quite as speedy as DrWJOdonnell, but close hopefully!).

Proud of me, PCad? All of your Zipp-shillness has talked me into it.

There's got to be more CF there than a Boeing 787.

From Wikipedia (everyone knows they are 100% trustworthy):

The 787 features lighter weight construction. Its materials (by weight) are: 50% composite, 20% aluminum, 15% titanium, 10% steel, 5% other.[57] Composite materials are significantly lighter and stronger than traditional aircraft materials, making the 787 a very light aircraft for its capabilities.[58] By volume, the 787 will be 80% composite. Each 787 contains approximately 35 tonnes of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, made with 23 tonnes of carbon fiber.[59]

That is RiZippulous. Pcad is proud. Better you than my own kid. If I can get my own daughter to avoid such preposterously extravagant expenditures, there may be hope for her. If she has inherited any of my pathetic gene pool, there is none.

Haha, yeah, I dunno what I'm gonna do when I graduate and have actual expenses....

Probably adapt, I'm pretty good at that, but who knows!

It could be worse: She could marry a tri-geek.

Good god that silver bar tape on the specialized looks like duct tape.

Zipp Disk - all of the aerodynamics of a wheel cover at ten times the price.

That P2C on the other hand is the best dang value in the bike world.

What size is the cockpit currently? I'm in the market.

You totally need to hit Run-Far fixed! Will Ross did it in 17:14 on his pursuit bike when I was racing it once. He passed me on the Escarpment climb, but I held him at 40s or so on the downhill (he was outgeared). Then he really blazed away on the finale.

if you keep buying new equipment, because you think your previous stuff was to blame for a lack of results, then you should seriously consider a new sport.
