I'd suggest a rear brake. It'll make everything quite a bit easier.

yeah, rear brake is going to have to happen. i've just been riding it in the street thus far, so i just put the front on, but i think dirt will have to change that. especially since i have a freewheel on the other side of the hub.

yeah, i love the paint, it's so early 90's. i have my eyes peeled for celeste anything to put on this sucker to exemplify the ridiculousness. miami vice indeed.

I rode fixed offroad with only a front brake for a while. It was really fun but I definately went over the bars more than I wanted to.
Going down a steep hill while modulating the front brake and keeping the cadence perfect so that I'm applying a lttle back pressure but not letting it skid as well as maintaining my body position back on the bike. It worked most of the time...

Thanks. The frame is nice IMHO, although mine is bit too big for me.

As for the Jopo, do I need to post my all original early seventies foldable Jopo Mobil here? My GF also has one of these O.G. Jopos, with nice gold paint.




And yes, the new modernized model Jopo in the post above comes with those fenders and rack etc. It's with coaster brake, obviously.
