I havent decided for sure how I am going to work the strap out yet. if it is going to be static or slidable yet. but i am done with the liner of the bag. the math was a a little off so the bag is cavernous is the wrong direction
this is one of two markup bags I am working on before i buy some cordura. that crap is expensive just for the sake of testing out a new pattern.

I have been slacking off, I need a patch to cover up a mistake on a the flap I am too lazy to fix
and i need to finish the bottom compression straps
you cant tell, but it has a divider and a velcro pocket inside
and it actually has four pockets up front

singer 7436, i like the big table and it came with a walking foot, was on sale a few weeks back. has a few other useful feet. not as strong as i would like. but it gets the job done, and just requires me to be cognizant of my actions. has a bunch of stitches i will probably never ever use.
that is also an example of a poor work area.

Oh, and on topic, that bag is tasty and your Turtles blanket is the least urine-stained one I've had the pleasure to see.

Why? I didn't go. Having a full scholarship handed out after showing five of my slides seemed a little dubious even if it was tempting.
(WTF? Cleveland? School or not, that place is ass.)

until it comes apart. this is a test bag, I am making two I reverse engineered a pattern from a picture of someone else's bag and I am working out the kinks. and playing with the design, the next bag will have changes and fix mistakes from there. and will probably be given away to. and then from there I will make a few from cordura and sell them to recoup my losses.
but I have owned this one for several years, but it is cordura though. and cordura is three times stronger that canvas
and i have lugged over 60 pounds in it. and i didnt have the sense to use upholstery thread like i use now
not sure how long the canvas duck cloth will hold up. part of the reason i am giving the new bag away for free.
but it has three layers on the floor and if you arent toting knives or rabid wombats who knows how it will hold up part of the test process
