Glue + pedals

I want to open my SPDs until they are very loose and then glue the screws so they don't shake out. The purpose is to make the pedals very easy to clip into. Is this a bad idea for any particular reason?

Probably a bad idea. You should be able to adjust them for easy entry and release.

You could try switching to the multi-release cleats which are easier to get in and out of.

Oh yeah, I always say this- if your cleats are worn (out) they will be come harder and harder to get out of. New cleats?
