recently purchased Super Sport
Hello my name is Luke I recently purchased a Schwinn Super Sport and I would like to know if anyone has any serial number info for me the serial number info as follows: TL81000036 this bike has Shimano 105's front and rear, Shimano RX 100 crank, Mavic rims. Does anyone know the year of this bike and where it was built. I would assume this bike is pretty new by its condition. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Luke

A little more info on that Schwinn Super sport It says frame 7005 aluminum alloy it has chrome forks it is a 27 speed has Mavic XP 21 rims. Maybe some one can help date this bike again serial# TL81000036 thanks, Luke

My best guess is probably 1999 or newer.

We have a winner you guys figured it out you are much more knowledgeable than I, It is a 99 Super Sport the pic is exact to my bike. Mine is in mint condition and I paid 200 for it I guess not a bad buy. Do you know if this is a Japanese Bike or American? Thanks, Luke

super sport identification
I just seen a 2000 Circut on E-Bay and it had same decals and motif with the 00 in the serial # I'm thinking it is a 2000 year model or late 99 being put out as a 2000
