Bikes: Junk, that is why I am here. :-)
Have a GREAT 2008!!!!!!!
I already did a 3 mile run and lifted weights. Now to do 15 to 20 miles on the bike today, too bad it will be in the basement on the rollers.

Happy new year
Ah a new year to start fresh. Happy New Year to everyone. I beat the snow for an 11 mile ride on my new bike - a first ride of the year, a first ride on a new bike. Can't beat that!

So far so good--14 miles along the Big Soos Creek Trail, and virtually no one else there

Happy New Year!
I've already been on the Happy New Rear ride- did the 28 mile route due to wind and hills (was planning the 38 mile route). Worked out okay, though, and the blackeyed peas and cornbread at the end were good. Was about 32 degrees when I got up there, but warmed up some during the ride, plus my heater kicked in on the first hill.

Happy New Year!!
I did a mile and a half jog/walk today. First time jogging in years. I want to do a triathlon this year. I am planning on riding at least 10 if the wind calms down some this evening.

Happy New Year All !
I just want to throw all this food away and start wittling this svelt Clydesdale body down to more of Quarterhorse, lol.
Hey, can anyone tell me how to reduce the size of my pics so I can get them under the 100 mb limit?
I want to show off the new bike.

Best way is to set up a Photo Bucket account, then copy the [IMG] tag from your photo and paste into your message, like this:

Does this count for a ride? About a mile! Hey, it's 24 degrees, ice and compact snow on the road, and dark out (I don't have any lights). Hey, I was reading the thread and got motivated to give it a try. I had knee surgery two weeks ago and walk with a limp. I didn't want to crash on my knee or have to plant the foot to keep my balance.
I have to decide what I want to do for winter riding. I have two MTB, one of which I use for indoor riding if that is the route I want to take. For now I will take it easy as my knee yields a twing of pain from my ride
