Fuji Nevada vs Fisher Tarpon

Which would make a better first mountain bike for light trail riding and commuting to class? If anyone has personal experience with either bike let me know what you think.

i bought the nevada about ten months ago hear in japan, ive been using it ever since for training, commuting, and light trails, i know its not the best out there, but for the money i paid and my skill levels its been great, its stood up to everything very well, the only thing i have had to change was the pedals, thats about it really,

but it comes down to two things which do you fell more comfy on and what sort of moeny do you want to spend???
