Valentine's Day Ride in Milwaukee?

So, Holidays are usually a good excuse to get people together to ride. I haven't seen anything about an organized ride here in Milwaukee for VD, so I thought maybe I would try to start one.

Let's get together on Valentines Day, 2008 and ride around and such. I propose that people meet up at riverside park (same place critical mass gathers, two blocks west of the intersection of Oakland and E Belleview) at 6pm. I welcome any recommmendations from people, or post if you want to come!

Make sure to bring lights, as we will probably be cruising around in the dark for a while.

Why not? We could make an event of it. I've got a couple extra pairs of skis. It would be like skijoring, but with bikes instead of dogs.

But to seriously lame... I've got a friend coming up on VD now, and she's not big on the whole "cold weather biking" thing. So I might be copping out. She's coming up on Wednesday, so maybe by Thursday she will have gotten bored with me/ I'll have p*ssed her off enough that I can leave for a while. I'll keep you guys posted.

Ok, I actually should be able to ride tonight. It's supposed to snow less than 6in. Anyone willing?

if you're interested there's going to be a bike ride starting at water and wisconsin starting at 10pm. i won't make it cos i'm all ~slicks~ and ~homework~ but they're good kids and a fun ride.

i'm going to the co-op in an hour if anyone wants to grab some grub
