another alternative for hubs...nice! i prefer cartridge bearings. the silver/pewter/black ones look kinda cool.

no I don't think so those loose ball hubs don't have the beveled flange like the sealed bearing ones. I think they are the same as the normal formula hubs just without the cutouts and printing in place of the cutouts.

Now people won't have to go out and spend too much money on phils they don't really need just to get that bling anno'd look!
I do really like the look of these hubs though, and Surlys have always been a good value for a street-use fixed hub.

unfortunately they still have axles long enough
to fit three sets of track ends (two if aluminum).
