Velo Orange?

Anyone have a velo-orange bike?

https://www.velo-orange.com/index.html

I've read the reviews on their website but wonder if anyone in the forum has tried / owned one.

Ask again in a few months and I should be able to tell you. I'm waiting on mine.

Since it's semi-custom, you can adjust various things, like braze-ons, to your liking.

Wonderful. Did you notice the book he sells with photos of handcrafted bicycles? this fabulous book containing magnificent images of superb bicycles was never translated into French. You also have a great collection of Rebour hand-made drawings (like the simplex Super LJ or the Mafac Racer brake). Seems like a good address

hey supcom, did you get the bike yet?

i'm looking into a semi-custom from V.O. as well and would love to hear about yours.

mostly wondering how long it takes to ship, and how heavy (or light) it is.

Still waiting. Last update was end of next month. Two frames ahead of mine.

Could be worse - it could be somebody like Sachs or Eisentraut, with their 4 YEAR wait lists...

I'll talk to a friend of mine on another social forum site. He's starting a job with V-O next month. Maybe I can convince him to join BF.net and give an (albeit insider and maybe biased) opinion.
