Santa Cruz Superlight Pivot question

I just took the bolt out of the pivot on my Santa Cruz Superlight. I have been riding the bike for about 9 months now so I figured that it is about time to clean the pivots. Not too mention that it keeps loosening up and creaking. Anywho, do I need to grease the pivot bolt before putting it back in?

Thanks in advance!

BTW, anyone else have problems with this bolt loosening up and creaking? It wouldn't be that big of a deal if the crank didn't have to be removed in order to tighten it up.
