The midnight blue/metallic flake is rather dark and can easily be mistaken as black. Nevertheless, it looks gorgeous in the sunlight and does fall into the blue and black category:

yes... when i had matching blue michelin erliums (or whatever they're called) and a blue frame pad on my black iro se with black bar tape, black brooks, black straps and silver components.
