Need training program for 100K XC race (14 weeks from now)
Can anybody send me a recommended training program to prepare for a 100 K XC race which is 14 weeks from now ? I'm a sport class 48 year old mountain biker in decent shape. Thanks

I'd suggest you pick up a copy of Joe Friel's cyclists training bible, and design your own training plan around your needs and abilites. I believe he makes one for MTB racers too.
Or, if you don't have the patience/desire to do that, I'd look into hiring a coach to develop a plan for you.

Recommend you post up in the long distance cycling forum for some good advice.
The main things you'll want to train are, of course, long rides - a 60+ miler over mtb trails could be a 6 hour ride, so you want to get used to being on the bike that long.
And you want to learn how to eat / drink properly for that long so you can finish.
