Well today whilst at work (im a taxi operator) i went to one of our local country pubs to pick up a customer and i saw the Landrover in the car park and guess who was sat at the bar drinking ? yep the same guy
I did'nt say anything to him ... but after informing my customers that i had arrived i went back to my car and phoned 999 and gave the Police the Landrover registration and location and that the driver was in the pub drinking
I spoke to one of our local Police Officers later on this afternoon and the guy had been arrested for Drink Driving

If i knew when he was up in court i'd wait outside and hand him one of my business cards as he leaves with a big smile on my face

Gotta love it...I hope the clown that passed 20 of us (cars that is) waiting at a rail crossing that was down gets his. He also ducked around the downed gates

The helmet camera part is to prevent a you versus them and no witnesses situation. Assuming that if the LR driver had clipped "Jake's Dad", the LR driver would, like this idiot driver in the video below (as far as I can remember), try to deny the whole thing.

I don't think the OP was referring to the camera per se, but more toward the method of camera mounting; vis a vis the helmet. Clearly those with out any cameras at all would find this hilarious, as would those who had handlebar camera mounts. I have a digital camera and recently found out that it has video capabilities. But I keep it in my back pack and although connected to my body and not the bicycle frame in any way, isn't technically a helmet mount so therefore I would potentially think this an amusing anecdote.

Here's a random selection of cyclists with either helmet cameras or video cameras who post to youtube.
Unfortunately, the incidents are all very similar (passing too close, right hook, left hook, looking and not seeing, shouldn't be cycling on the road, etc.)

None from the action camera but i do have a video on youtube i made with a small-ish camcorder...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFNdhHMF3Rg
It was made with a panasonic camcorder. It's really not that small, probably weighs a pound or 2. I just hung it around my neck while climbing and periodically shot video when it was safe (thank goodness the road was closed to cars at the time). The descent was done by wrapping the strap around the handlebars and riding as carefully as possible while trying to hold the camera in position.
I used the Oregon Scientific camera to make a video of the same road afew months later (just the descending portion) but i haven't gotten around to uploading it anywhere yet...
I'm planning on making a video of my commute home sometime soon. With a 2gb (or 4gb, i forget) you can capture 1 hour of footage at 640x480 resolution at 30fps.

Op's story cracks me up... that's better than seeing them up at the light ahead, like a sitting duck.
https://goprocamera.com/ Shock proof, water proof, SD card storage, two high energy AAA's, weighs in at a sparrow's fart or two. Takes an hour of TV quality video... screen capture.

Psydotek - thanks very much
TRaffic Jammer - can you say "breathe in". What part of space don't drivers get
On a more serious note there was a bike courier in Manhattan who got sandwhiched into a 6inch space while splitting lanes. He survived but the pictures in the new york tabloids were a little unsettling.
