Help testing new website features
I've made some changes on my website that need to be testing on browsers other than Firefox and IE7.
If you happen to use a browser other than one of these (IE6, especially) would you mind clicking on the two links below and letting me know if get any errors?
Link 1: A long entry whose main part (not the comment) should end with the words "Cabot Trail website". This is fixing a bug I found in my web server!
Link 2: A new home page that has thumbnails at the top. I am trying to add some graphics to the top of my pages. You should see 4 thumbnail pictures, two on each side of the top menu.
If you have a problem, could you let me know the browser and version you are using either by posting here or sending me a PM?
This really helps alot!
Thanks,
Ray

Okay in Opera 9.50 beta 2 for Linux and Firefox 2.0.0.12 (I know you said it was tested in Firefox already but mines a slightly different version) for Linux both within Fedora 8 (Werewolf).
Firefox is my primary browser for surfing and reading BF so you got that thrown in as well, One thing I noticed is Opera did a much nicer rendering of your website. Maybe I should rethink the part about mostly using Opera for reading online manga.

When I use IE7 on the system, it works fine.
Is anyone else having this problem with IE7?
For what it is worth, the message displayed is a browser execution error, my code shouldn't be able to do that.
When you say "browse something" do you mean click on an entry or on anything on the page, like a navigation link?
Can you tell me more?

I figured it out. I run an extension called Adshield for IE7 which blocks like 90 percent of ads on IE. It's the equal to the adblock extension for Firefox. When I disable adshield, your page loads fine. I'll admit though, yours the first page to cause this crash while running adshield.
Your main page would load up fine, then ANY link I clicked on, browser crash. Even your email link would crash the browser. I think there is just something that adshield.dll doesn't like about your page.
It's no biggie though, I use firefox 90 percent of the time.
Thanks for your work on the site.

gpsblake,
Thanks for the input. If I had to guess, I would start with the fact that I add "target=_blank" to every link so that they open in another window/frame. But, lots of sites do that, I wonder why this one causes a problem?
It seems odd that a page without ads caused the adblocker to choke!
