10 Speed Cassette Installation
I tried a search but must have entered the wrong search terms. Sorry to bring up a topic that has probably been covered before.
I am switching my Ksyrium SL wheelset to my new ten speed bike from my old nine speed bike.
There is a small spacer that is on the free hub that was installed with my nine speed cassette. It goes on the hub first before the cassette. The spacer is about 1.5 mm thick, and I think it came with the wheelset.
Do I leave the spacer on when installing the ten speed cassette?
Thanks for your help.

With a Mavic you need the thicker spacer from your 9-speed install plus you'll also need the thin 10 speed only spacer.
