Replacing old Suntour sealed bearings...
Howdy. Is it possible to replace old sealed bearing from a suntour hub, or is it a proprietary design that one can no longer find...
Thanks,
Travis

If you can find the bearing (I don't know the size) you can replace it... I have some of these hubs, they are awesome, haven't replaced the bearings though I have removed them.

How bad are your bearings? If they aren't scored or picked, you should be able to can clean them up, repack them with fresh grease and reinsert the seals (or shields).

Should be #6001, 12mm i.d., 28mm o.d., forget how thick.
Popular size, used by Mavic, Sanshin, Specialized, American Classic, Phil, and others. At one time, buying them from Mavic was the cheapest! IIRC we were able to sell them for about $3, but that was in 1994.
