Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? OT: Gas prices ruined EASTER!

So... my folks sent me an Easter care package. I open it up and I see some marshmallow peeps. We all love peeps. But this year... I noticed that marshmallow peeps only come in 2 rows instead of 3!!!!!!!

This is total BS and Im mad that the same price gets me one less row of sugary goodness.

Thanks ALOT oil companies!

JERKS!

+1 to biking.

If you really think about, peeps have ruined Easter far more than gas prices.

I work with a guy whos last place of employment was the Peep factory. He said it was EXACTLY like Willy Wonka.

No, he is not an Oompa Loompa.

The more expensive gas gets, the more money I save from cycling everywhere. I used to save $100 a month, now I save $150. With my increased savings, I'll be able to afford some new rims soon. With any luck, it will get so expensive that I can retire early.

Thats an assumption that has little basis. It's much more likely that they are just trying to squeeze more
profit out of each sale. They really cant grow their distribution much more than it is already, so they have to
reduce the size of the product. It's been done for years.

Anyway- peeps will make you fat and rot your teeth.

I was under the assumption that Jesus ruined Easter. He keeps taking the attention away from the bunnies and the chickens and the eggs and the candies.

Holy crap... did the ss/fg forums get hit with lightning?

Im pretty sure I was being sarcastic regarding that the high oil prices ruined peeps. Obv they want to make more money.

Secondly... people that don't get peeps for Easter or NEVER got peeps when they were a kid are lying. You know you're all sad now that there are only 2 rows.

Also... peeps don't make you fat. Being lazy makes you fat.

+1 to that peep show. Thats hot.

Crapola... ur right.

Lets just change it to say that the peep factory ruined Easter. Of course... we'll just assume when I say Easter I'm referring to the hallmark/candy/superficial aspect of the holiday.

I WANT MY 3rd ROW BACK!

DAMN YOU PEEEEEPS! DAMN YOU ALL TO HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a friend whose sister used to toss the peeps in the microwave and inflate them to be like 10 times their size and then fling the door open and try to eat them before they shrunk down again.

+1 on the peepshow - so hot.

Peeps are gross - I ate one in the 90's and vowed to never do it again. They're worse than Sno Balls.
