3 hours would have been more appropriate. I'm not even disappointed at this juncture.....we just expect such from VS.

You mean they're airing live coverage of the wannabe messenger world trackstand-off competition?

I'm not sure how I feel about this.

How about we try this statement instead.

"Thank you Versus for giving us 900,000% more coverage than we ever had before you".

Yeah, I'm just happy to see some current footage. It's nice to be able to keep tabs on Zabriskie's facial hair styles.

The thing I don't understand is why they devote so much time to covering the time trial stages. I guess I can understand it if it's a week-long stage race and the time trial occurs on the day they are broadcasting - fine, give us the recaps of the week's events and then show that day's stage "live." But with the Criterium International coverage, they spent 20 minutes on the first two stages, and then the remaining 40 minutes on the time trial - I don't get it! Is it really more interesting to watch guys riding fast by themselves? Or is it just easier to get good footage and commentate/explain than in the road stages where there's more stuff actually happening?

Discuss amongst yourselves.

I said the EXACT SAME THING last night! I would so much rather watch...well...anything other than the TT!

I think that the TT footage is the best. You really get to see each riders different riding style, instead of seeing them riding in a tight pack eating Clif Bars.
IMHO, the most interesting stages to watch are the TT's and the climbing stages when there are attacks.

I wish they would show more descents. I love seeing them fly through turns and taking some close calls.

+1 We are (myself included) a greedy lot indeed, aren't we?

Cheers,

i'm actually relieved that i have no access to VS.

i may miss the voorjaars klasieken this year, which is a pity, but at least they won't be tainted by the shiddy VS coverage.

The coverage of CI was decent. The coverage of Milan - San Remo last week was outstanding.

Quit *****ing before we have nothing at all.
