What to do when the bike you want is unavailable?
Just got the bad news that the Specialized Tricross Sport 08 is permanently out of stock in 52cm in Australia. Is there any way of attempting to import bikes? Anyone had any success? There are probably a few more retailers I can ring up, but I don't like my chances. Any other ideas? Otherwise it's go with something else, or wait till September for the 09. Or a different size (eep).

Given the diversity of the cyclocross bike market surely there are other CX bikes just as suitable in Oz?

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!
