VDO MC1.0 vs POLAR CS400

I'm planning a cyclocomputer purchase and am considering these because they feature these things I want:

--Altimeter functions
--Computer download of ride data
--Temperature
(Plus a bunch of the usual cycling parameters, speed, etc.)

Anyone have scoop on either of these (or alternate) units?

Well, I have an VDO MC1.0 and quite like it. Navigation is a bit arcane at first, but after a while you figure it out.

However, you can't download anything from an MC 1.0 to your computer.
