26 (559) Tandem Rims
Can any one please tell me if there are any 48 hole 26 inch (559) currently in production.
I am looking at getting a tandem built and my partner and my self are borderline clydesdales.
Also a question on BB width for Sugino Tandem cranks , will 113mm do ? or do I need 115mm or 118mm.
(145mm rear hub with drag brake)
Thanks in advance

I bought 40 Hole Velocity AeroHeat from https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...8&category=148 to build a new rear wheel for my Tandem. We ar a Clyde team and have had no trouble with 40 hole.

The Velocity AeroHeats come in a 40- but not 48-hole version. See https://www.velocityusa.com/default.asp?contentID=594. I would think they would be adequate.

The Santana catalog indicates they make a 48 spoke 26" wheel.
