Runny Nose during intense rides

Everytime I ride these days, I seem to get a runny nose during a intense hill climb or such. As far as the rest of the ride, there is no problem. I have seen some athletes with a sort of band aid looking strip across the bridge of their noses. Is this strip used to prevent loose nostils??

breathe-rites. i've never used em, tho i've meant to try them to help me breathe more thru my nose on hard efforts. breathing thru my mouth aggravates my damn athsma. ullrich uses em from time to time in the tour.

as far as i know they don't prevent much of anything, just open pathways. you'll still get lots of snot into the wind - learning a good farmer blow can help you there.
