Hi from a soon to be endurance cyclist
Hi all,
I'm a recreational biker that is going to attempt my first century this fall! I live on the eastern shore of Maryland and I bought a Trek 7.3 fx hybrid last summer and am loving riding again... what a difference a decent bike makes. I've joined LLS' Team in Training to ride the Seagull Century in honor of my dad.
Hope to get some great training tips from all you experienced cyclists!

Hello Carolyn, we do encourage people to get a nice bike. It's not that the bikes from X-Mart won't work (with a lot of help), but it's certainly easier to get enthusiastic when you start with a decent machine! Good luck on the Seagull.
