Giant Yukon seatpost nut damaged
Basically, I overtightened the seat and the nut got ruined to the point that the bolt easily slides in and out of the nut. Now, I figured I could just replace the nut, but I went to my local bike shop and they couldn't help me. I looked around online and couldn't find the same exact nut or clamping parts, but I found a similar clamping assembly:

I'm wondering if that would work on my Yukon's seat post, or at least if the nut would fit. It LOOKS like it would fit, but I don't know for sure since it's meant for a Kalloy 267 seat post. I actually thought about simply buying the whole seat post, but it comes in 30.8 mm, not 30.9 mm like my Yukon, and I have read it's very important to have precise seat posts.
So my question is, should I go with this clamping assembly above since it looks like it would work, should I buy the 30.8 mm seat post and hope it doesn't damage my frame, or should I simply look for a completely different seat post altogether?
