stripped Lockring Threads

Hey all,

I recently stripped the lockring threads on a very nice superbe pro hubs. I heard that it is possible to get it tap a new threads on it and a special lockring for it? Is it do-able and worth the money?

Cheers,
Dubbo.

How bad is the strippage? You might be able to chase the female threads and install a new lockring. And don't crank down so hard on the new one.
