Spain - Portugal In February, Yes..No..??

We are thinking about a trip to Spain or Portugal next February, Any comments would be appreciated, We are fairly seasoned tourers. We would probably allow the whole month . Just wifey and I. Cheap is better, so we always camp and do our own cooking. Your experiences appreciated.

If you like snow - yes it is.

From my point of view: February is to early for Spain. May be Andalusia, but the wheater can be very unstable.

I live in northen portugal, and yes, the weather is very unstable from january to may. I'm going for the Caminho de Santiago in august, which is not the better time due to the hot temperatures and to many people doing it. If I could choose, I would go on april or may.

You will be fine in the South of Spain at sea level. Elelvations above 1000 m can see snow, the Castillian plateau and Extremadura can have temperatures below freezing. The North can be very wet and just above freezing.
