Newbie In Atlanta
Hello all, just found the Bike Forums and also just started commuting by bike. Decided to commute more for exercise benefits than for cost savings but I am enjoying the expense savings. Not sure how often I'll commute and have averaged 3 days per week so far. Luckily I have relatively safe and modest (14 miles round trip) distance to ride.

Hello tmmcta, there are a lot of members here from ATL, and I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't run across one or two. What's your ride?

I ride a GT Tequesta circa 1995. Probably has less than 200 miles on it. No suspension and added lights, rack and thinner tires (26x1.5). I also have a Bianchi road bike from 1990. I have not ridden much over the past 10 years due to marriage, kids and a marathon running habit I got into. After only a few weeks of commuting (in Suwanee) I have remembered the joy of cycling again and look forward to riding when I can.
