And you thought YOU had the biggest bike collection

(I do not know anything about the owner of these bikes, or if they were legally acquired.)

edit: the title should say "the" instead of "be"

I notice that the house features a huge stack of aluminium crutches, as well. Could there be a connection?

Why are virtually all of the bikes little pink bikes?

Compared to some of the neighbors I've had, I'd love to have them next door.

HOLY SHEESH!! Even the fence is starting to fall!! Did you take that pic? The woman on the balcony doesn't look too happy.

(I wonder if there's anything good in there)

Given the stack of crutches, I'm almost thinking that someone's collecting metal as opposed to bicycles per se.

What a shame. How many kids would love to have a bike and the parents or themselves can not afford one. Someone should go get these and put them into a donation program. This is no better than the cat hording old lady. Sheezs

I agree. What a waste...and they appear to be far from pure junk (although if they don't find homes out of the weather soon, they may end up that way).

Someone would appreciate them...and with gas (petrol) as expensive as it is...

That is not a bike collection. It is a trash heap composed of old bikes. AKA a scrap yard.
Yuck.

Two above ground swimming pools too... both half full. Ugh. In Texas, that is screaming mosquito heaven.

As for the bikes pictured, I can't really tell if the bikes are scrap or if they are in some type of operational/salvagable condition.

The one in the shade is a trampoline. I bet they take a trials bike from the roof to the trampoline and into the pool.

Those bikes look pretty clean for scrap...

I can't help but wonder if the "collector" is too liberal in his bicycle harvesting techniques.

There's a house that I ride by from time to time that has 100s of bicycles in the front yard. I'll have to snap a photo of it.... If I owned that many bicycles and had the time, I'd experiment with welding equipment to see what kind of stuff I could build.
