Claud Butler Gran Sport... to buy?

In excellent riding shape, very few nicks on the paint. He's asking $250. Not being versed in CB I figured someone here would know what would be a reasonable price for a machine of this caliber. Seems to me that just from taking it for a test ride the performance alone warrants the price but again, knowing nothing about CB stuff I just wanted to know if there's anything I should know before purchasing.
