Imagine nanowire lithium ion batteries in electric bikes
Just read about nanowires lithium ion batteries. They have an energy density "several" times that of today's lithium ion batteries. And if fully developed, maybe even 8x more.
Wow, imagine going 100 miles on a 3 lb battery! Your electric bike can weigh just 40 lbs and the battery can be completely hidden.

Hopefully big gas companies won't buy these guys and bury it.
I'd buy one of those batteries for sure.
Bring on the electric car folks!
