Framesaver-ing a Brompton?

Hi all,

I just bought my first folder - an M3L in raw lacquer - and I'm really enjoying it. My steel-framed bikes normally get an application of Framesaver. Has anyone tried this with a folder or a Brompton in particular? I am wondering if it might just be a big mess since the innards of the frame tubing are bit more exposed than on a non-folding bike.

Thanks in advance,
Dr. Hans.
