Hardly a surprise, something about "if it looks too good to be true, etc..."

I would hate to move this post and not allow everyone the chance to welcome the new person.

Please let me know if you really wish to have this thread relocated to the Trash forum.

Thanks!

Especially because it will spawn three threads about moderators interfering in 50+ and prompt about a half-dozen departures.

Well...yeah .

If we get enough complaints, I will remove it, but I really need to have the community voice here .

Yup. If you'll check my posts from the last few days you'll see one in which I state, and several other regulars agreed, that I'm glad we have moderators for this very reason. I don't want to read through a bunch of thinly disguised sales pirches.

Failing to take action would kind of confirm the nay-sayers opinion regarding bad judgement by the moderators.

How about just deleting the nasty link and then letting us have our fun, East Hill?

I can't believe the bits of data storage space being wasted on this post. It's neither bike related nor 50+ related. I vote to wipe it.

You really should post this to the Advocacy and Safety (A&S) section of Bikeforums. It is, after all advocacy.

Why don't you mods do your job and blow this whole thing away! I really hate it when someone volunteers to take a position with some responsibility and don't exercise it. I think we should berate and abuse the mods for not having the intestinal fortitude to take actions into thier own hands and do what they think is best. I think we could easily collect up to 6 pages of BS before you could bat an eye.

See - there's no pleasing some people
