Pinellas Trail and courteous drivers

I have ridden Florida's Pinellas Trail from Dunedin to Tarpon Springs, 15 miles, and back several times recently. The trail includes a number of intersections with roads most of which have four way stop signs. Almost invariably, drivers stopped, signaled me on and waited as I pedaled through without stopping. It is a wonderful, scenic ride made even better by those unusually courteous drivers.

The one time I've ridden that trail I had the same experience. Now, if only drivers were as courteous to bicyclers on the road riding cause they need to get somewhere.

p.s. really nice trail.
