Listen people, people in my life have let me down again, and I've got nobody to go to California with for Junior National Road Championships. I want to be able to do both Road and Track, but doing Road is getting incredibly harder.
So I'm asking you folks of BF, can you open your doors to me for a week?
I'm 18, housebroken, have good manners, love racing bikes, and I have advanced mechanic skills.
So if you're in the Anaheim area and it's not too much of a burden to help me race, it'd be more than appreciated.
::EDIT:: I'm looking to fly in on August 5th.

This should be moved to the SoCal region for better exposure.
I have a tiny house and am rather far from OC so I can't offer a bed, but try https://www.warmshowers.org/ and see if there is anyone there who can help.
Also, contact all the clubs in that area and see if they can hook you up, maybe with a junior rider so you have a ride to the events as well. When I raced juniors, I frequently stayed at the houses of other racers. Just do them a favor by buying your own food, keeping your stuff tidy, and maybe bringing a token gift when you arrive.
I might be dropping by for some of the weekday Sprint rounds (since I'm off work) and maybe the madison if I can talk the wife into coming. I think she'd find that interesting.

Try smarcarroll@aol.com. She is working with the promotor to handle housing requests. If you don't have any luck with that PM me and I will see what I can to do to help you. I don't have much room but we have plenty of juniors from our club who are doing nationals.
