Picking a bike

I would like to know which bike is a better buy for a cross country mtb. I am wondering about the Giant XTC Alliance HT, a Specialized Stumpjumper Comp HT, or the Trek 6700 HT.

If anybody has any other good HT X-country bikes for under $2000, i would like to know your suggestions.

Thanks

Under $2000....Giant TranceX2...Bike of the year soft tail.
But if you're just looking for Hard Tails... https://www.mtbr.com/reviewscrx.aspx
The first section is on 2006-2008 Bikes.

Have you considered a 29er? Gary Fisher's best aluminum one, the Paragon, is under $2K.

29er fans... always skulking about, further confusing the OP's choices.

I think a go-kart might better suit the OP.

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

Don't listen to these poseurs. You should only let pros pick your next bike. She'll pick it for you:
