Le Burrito
My wife ate at Chipotle today, and noticed "le burrito" advertised on a sign claiming to be what the team eats and that it had a perfect ratio of carbs and protein yada yada yada. Funny.

If you want to know the truth about the nutritional content of the rest of their menu, go to https://www.chipotlelovers.com/calculator.asp.
That burrito I has last night wasn't so healthy..but it sure was good!

I have no qualms eating a Chipotle burrito, even before a race. I get chicken, rice, beans, and a little bit of cheese. Skip everything else. It is not so bad for you. Lots of carbs and protein.
I hate to say it but I've had a lot of Mexican food and Chipotle is my favorite but maybe it's because I'm a gringo! I find everything else too greasy, too much cheese too much sauce.

I ordered a Le Burrito yesterday. They asked all the options anyway, so what's the point?

We are cyclists. We don't complain about calorie content, we complain about HFCS and trans fats.
As long as the calories come from a decent source (not industrialized plastic), I'm in. The answer is just that you ride more.
+1 on the tortilla thing, it's funny to think that a flour tortilla has 20% more calories than a cliff bar. I'm still gonna eat it though.

My usual veggie burrito (w/out guac, cheese or sour cream) comes out to 528 calories. It is one of my regular Sunday post-ride lunches. Not too bad and really tasty with the hot salsa and Tabasco. I think of the high sodium as electrolyte replacement.

Skip the cheese and guac, and that really drops the calorie count. Go with chicken, not steak if you want less fat.
I love Chipotle, probably not as good as chicken and pasta before a race or a long ride though.

That's what my wife does. I usually eat the other half... on top of my own burrito and chips
