you dont need a bike to be light stock. it just doesnt matter. you'll end up breaking things and swapping for lighter parts, and ditching stuff, like brakes if you buy a stock bike that actually has em.

just pick a bike on some online shop that has features you want. eventually you will make it lighter with newer, better parts. it happens to everyone. when i bought my bike stock, it weighed 33 lbs. i got rid of the pegs, brakes, put some new bars on, smaller drivetrain, and thinner grips. i cut my weight down to 27.5 lbs. just get used to it and drop weight as you go.

theyre both made of hi-ten garbage. you need to read the specs and look for 100% or full Chromoly. that goes for both the frame and forks. and look for sealed bearings like BB, Hubs, and headset.

no. only the tt is chromo. baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. the whole frame has to be chromo, and so does the fork.
