The Photo Thread of What you Carry aka The Proof is in the pic

I really like pictures where people show what they've carried by bike. Since buying/investing in a PAC, I've found it has really paid for itself in the things I've been able to do with it. There is such a nice feeling of accomplishment when you carry things while on your bike. Doesn't matter if it's big or small just show pics of things you've carried or other pics of other ppl utilizing their bikes fully too. So next time you carry something, think about this thread and snap a pic next time

Here's what I lugged to my friend today:

And my favorite thing to carry due to the priceless looks of drivers' faces

I used to carry up to 50lb in burritoes/other Mexican food stuffed into two big heat bags stacked up on top of eachother in a rear basket/bungeed down for stability. The bags were the size that when they were stacked on top of eachother, you could only see the tip of my head while I was riding the bike if you were behind me.

Sry no pics.

Most I've carried was a 24 pack of water and 2 gallons of juice from South street to my dorm in Temple. Not terribly impressive but it was hella fun.

i just found this frame in Williamsburgh this evening. problem was, i live in the Lower East Side AND i was on my bike. so i took off my belt and made a sling, and carried the whole frame on my back. ...all the way across the Williamsburgh bridge and down to my place on Canal & Essex.

it was surreal, awkward, and also quite painful. i was riding a bike, WEARING a bike. no shirt either. i got a lot of funny looks from the other riders i passed.

i'm going to take it to the Times Up! workshop next week, overhaul it and slap some new tires on it. i know a certain petite lady friend of mine who really wants a bike...

Nice one - I do see scrapped frames from time to time around here, though more often than not, its inconvenient to try to salvage them... but props on hauling that one back to Brooklyn.

it was actually the reverse - i hauled it from Brooklyn to the LES. i see old frames around our hood as well, but never unlocked / in the trash. it's always the rusted ones perma-locked to signs & fences, etc.

Oops - sorry, I don't know how I completely misread your post. I've seen one or two around Attorney St. and Staunton, and some near like Ave B and 5th street -- once a super heavy delivery bike with a stripped rear hub of sorts in a mini-dumpster, other times stripped-down BMX frames near piles of trash, a usable women's road frame from the 1970s, and also a usable old men's road frame (that one I regretted not picking up in time). The sad thing is, with a lot that I've tried to rescue from the trash, I end up just falling over them in my 230 sq. foot apartment and then just returning them to the side of the road

i hear ya on that, my place is under 200sq. ft. that frame is going on the fire escape tonight.

if you find yourself tossing any frames in the future, shoot me a PM and i'll come take it off your hands.

I'm the kind of guy who likes to chime in on subjects...yeah, I do this in real life too. I'm an a**hole.

Anyway, last November I went to NYC to audition for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, because, well I want to be a millionaire. Anyway, being too cheap for a cab, I walked from West 67th to the Imperial Ferry pier. Along the way, I saw a red Cannondale less its wheels leaning up against a fence with some trash. I was close to taking it, but there were a couple shady looking individuals sitting not far away in a parked car. And it was late. And I don't belong in NYC.
