Dave, it is beyond description!!!! I thought of you and all the rest of the hill loving folk around here. Just fabulous!!!!!!! I honestly was so verklempt so many times....the mountains and scenery there are just exquisite. So many folks out biking no matter when you go out, I always felt like I was in an organized ride. Rode with lots of nice folks.

Still haven't figured up how much climbing I did but it was a lot. Thing is though...it's mainly long climbs; in many ways I found it easier than, say, DLD with it's shorter, steeper climbs.

I rode from Chautauqua up to May's Point in Boulder every day. That's a great ride. I'll post some of my routes so you can check out the elevations.

We ought to all caravan out there some time and just ride for a week! Cycling heaven, it is!

In 3 weeks I rode 1500 miles 'Course that's just normal mileage for you

Sounds awesome! Although all that climbing makes me nervous. I guess it all depends on how much prep riding you get in before going out there. 1500 miles! Okay, next time we ride together you have to ride backwards to even things out, or at least with one hand tied behind your back, or one leg. Something to even things out.

I hope you got some mountain bike miles in out there -- that's where the real climbs are!
