I'm a new bicycle commuter that has been blogging about my experiences. By random chance, a reporter with SmartMoney Magazine came across my blog and featured me in a story about cutting commuter costs.

Great to hear you were in the news!
I read the article and was reminded of a friend who has done the van-pool thing for years. Since she dirves, she gets access to the van at all times. There is a mileage limit, but she was able to do a trip out of state with it and stay within the limit. ...I just haven't found one for my route.
Guess it doesn't matter since I'm working out the bicycle solution. Again, congratulations for getting alternative transportation some notice.
