Trek 560 Pro Series Fork options??
Ahoy!
New to the forums and proud owner of a 1984 560 Series! Found locally on CL for under $200, such a great bike!
A terrible photo:
However, due to clumsy and inattentive riding at night I nearly demolished the entire frame. Luckily the only real damage is a severely bent fork..
My question is, what are the options I have for replacement? I've been unable to find a factory reynolds 501 fork to substitute it. Nor have I found any other forks that fall within the measurements I need. (700c, 140mm steerer, 40mm threaded) I've read about how changing the rake of the fork can greatly disturb the ride quality and this is obviously something I'd like to avoid!
Hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation and help steer me in the right direction!
Cheers,
-Andy
