Confirmed... Just saw the episode.

Assy asked a rasta man in a wheelchair "what's the most valuable thing in here?" and he pointed to a 1972 orange Eddy Merckx hanging in a bike shop. He shot the top tube in half, it crashed to the floor, and he said "Now it's a 1972 with a hole in it."

Pretty funny and random reference

It was actually a pretty good rendition of this:

$100,000.00 probably. Pretty much as much as people are willing to pay. It's priceless though.

Not $100,000... SLX Leaders fetch about $1,400 for a frameset. My old LBS back in NC has a 50th Anniversary groupo on a Molteni Merkcx roadie. Only worth about $3,000 at most. $2,500 in reality... ****, the De Rosa 35ths aren't worth more than $4,000 NOS.
