Is your fixed gear hot or not?
Hi, I've just created a website where you can submit, view and rate fixed gear and single speed bikes - MyFixedGear.net. I suppose it's a little like Hot or Not for fixed gear bikes.
The site's only just launched so I'd be really interested in what people think about it, and any suggestions on how to improve it. Also if you do like the site please feel free to submit your bike, which you can do here.
Cheers,
Jon

Okay, I'll be the one to say it. "I like bikes and most bike people and a lot of bike sites." Myfixedgear, I appreciate your enthusiasm and share it too. That said, I must go for a joyride. Thank you for your labors.

ZiP0082, Ah yes, I can see how the title could be a little misleading.
Hey Otis, I like that idea a lot. I'll have to have a look and see if that's something I can add. Thanks.

not a bad idea but i'd suggest to rig up some way for the picture to automatically advance after you rate and there is a lot of repetition in the bikes coming up multiple times maybe find a way to limit or eliminate that.

There's already a site where people post pics of their bikes...oh yeah, this one! And the opinions are brutally honest.
By looking at the ratings, you can already see that people are goofing around.

Thanks a lot for the advice and submissions. Much appreciated.
xiamsammyx - the repetition should hopefully be solved once there are more bikes on the site, as the next button just picks a random bike.

Thanks, all your bikes are now up on the site. Deathhare, MyFixedGear takes a liberal view towards nudity so if you want to include naked pictures, knock yourself out (metaphorically, of course) but if you do try to keep it tasteful.

Oh I'm sorry wrong thread^Wsite
I  my ride and will kill for it/die riding it. The opinion of a thousand slack-jawed hipsters LOLing and clicking 'next' means ... $0.02 to me.
Coming soon: LOLfixed.com and LOLster.com
can't wait. (puts head in oven)
