hello i have a 24v 12ah sla battery on my al 1020 bike.I will not ride in winter so i do i keep it charged and what meter can i use for a reading at the three prong connection on the battery?thanks

sla batteries hold ther charge pretty good i would charge them about once a month for a min of 8 hours sla lose about 10 to 12% of there charge a month not like nicads or nims who lose that much in a day if not used and charged daily
