So what should I ask my doctor?
We just returned from the Midwest Tandem Rally.
We rode the short route on Saturday, 30 miles. It was a wonderful ride but seemed sooo hard. Sunday I felt too fatigued to ride. No pain, no other symptoms, just tired. I basically just slept the day away. Walking 2 blocks to the Subway shop was about all the exercise that I wanted. I feel fine today (Monday morning).
This has happened to me before a couple of years ago. I saw a doctor and had my heart and thyroid checked, but didn't discover anything abnormal.
Anybody have any experience or ideas about how I should address this issue?

Don't know- but don't take "it's probably nothing" for an answer. I think I'd press for maybe an arterial blockage test of some sort? Maybe hit the training and nutrition forum for some ideas? Or call the BJC "ask a nurse" line for some ideas?

If this doesn't happen on a regular basis I wouldn't be too worried about it. Of course it wouldn't hurt to mention it to your doctor on your next visit.

It would be worrisome if you had experienced symptoms such as shortness or breath or pain of any sort. Feeling fine today is a good sign.
For the average person, not feeling up to a bike ride on a particular day wouldn't be significant. For you, that's unusual and could be semi-significant.
If you're like me, you're probably overdue for a checkup. When you do go see your doctor, describe your weekend experience.
