What are your thoughts on/how much would you pay...
for a 2006 Kona Sutra? It's been sitting on the LBS' floor for a while now. It's new, not used.

My Bike had a MSRP of over $900
It was a year old model and had been marked down to $750.
I could get the same bike on the internet for $600. (i DID NOT SAY THIS TO HIM)
I offered the LBS $650.
He didn't even blink before he said ok.
My LBS is very short on space.
msrp-30%, He is probably waiting for you and will be glad to break even on this old stock and put something that will move and make a profit in in it's place. Am I wrong.

A 2006?...nice you should get a great deal on that bike. It's still warm out and my LBS is getting ready to sell 2008 bikes at a good discount to make room for new stock and get the 2008 inventory off the books.

Bikepedia listed MSRP as $1499. I would offer $900 and not budge much. Similarly equipped models sell in the $1000 range and they are not 2 years old going on three.
