Welcome to me!
Hi everyone. I've been lurking around here for quite some time and finally decided to take the plunge and join. I'm an avid cyclist but my collection is down to just two at the moment: a 2002 Specialized M4 Stumpjumper HT (which currently has slicks on it for commuting to work) and a 1996 ProFlex 856 with all the goodies. I decided to thin things out and kept just my favorite two rides.
In the works is cyclocross bike (Masi or Salsa) for my new commuter/fun bike, a new road bike (Trek or Orbea), and I think I've talked the wife into getting a tandem soon. We'll see on that one.

Hey, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you could be a real bike nut with just a little encouragement, or maybe even none at all. Bikes are like potato chips, you can't have just one!

Hi pharph, what's your commute like? Yeah, you need another couple of bikes .

My commute is 4.5 miles each way through a neighborhood, past an automotive plant, down a suburban street, and finishes with about a 3/4 mile multi-use path in the woods. Can't beat that. Plus I have shower/locker room facilities at work ... so no excuses.
