BL-36 and 100lb trailer stress on race bike?

I'm getting a used BL-36 kit with 700c wheel tomorrow. I've got a 93 Steel KHS bike with Ultegra components and a Shogun 600 from the 80's with Tange #2 tubing, both weigh 24lbs total. Both with quick release.

Will pulling a 60lb dog in a 30lb trailer with the motor kit wear or stress anything out? Also, it will really help me out I'm pretty sure. I've got hills.... I figure I can pedal up hills and up to speed and use the motor for flat cruising to save energy. I tried pulling him with the 41lb full suspension mountain bike and even though it had a granny gear my average speed was 11mph over 4.5 miles, I can do 14.5mph over 7 miles on that bike with no dog.

I found a ladies Schwinn Varsity cheap I was thinking I could use for that but that would bring me up to 4 bikes total.

It's addictive isn't it? I started out with the Kent MTB and then got the Shogun, was all set then. But everyone told me downtube shifters would be crap for racing, besides I'd hate to wreck the Shogun.
