The holeshot I'm getting this week comes with 24/26 but I'd like to know for what kind of riding each setup is made for or you think is made for, what big difference it makes, I especially curious about the difference on the front wheel.

26/26...for djing and trials this feels natural. It would be easier for drops and I assume getting up on the rear wheel, but really I like balance. I might go 24/24 but really at that point I would probably consider a pro size bmx.

well I do know that doing manuals is easier with a short radius rear wheel and you get more stability too, I was really curious for the front wheel though, I'll stay with the 26 for now and see how it feels.

...Well 24" front and back would make the bike more 'flickable' for sure. IT would save weight and be stronger but I think you would loose a lot on the trails. It would be a tossup between wanting an all round bike or an urban attack bike ...

Keep in mind that if a bike comes with a 24/26 set up there is a good chance that the geometry is set up for it also. Changing to a 24/24 or 26/26(may not work) will affect the geometry and may make the bike feel totally different.

There are some urban FR bikes that are being made 24/26 this year. The Iron Horse Porter sig. for example... I am told it has to do with weight over the rear end/traction.
